Softball Recap: Sylacauga Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sylacauga can now relate to. They lost 19-0 to the Shelby County Wildcats on Monday. The Aggies' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Sylacauga's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Shelby County, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Shelby County beat Sylacauga by a score of 13-10 later that day.
