After a string of four wins, Princeton's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell to the Beavercreek Beavers 49-43. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Vikings came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Beavers are ranked 223rd).

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Beavercreek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Beavercreek beat Princeton by a score of 49-43 later that day.
