Softball Recap: Worthington Kilbourne Comes Up Short

Worthington Kilbourne lost against Hayes back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolves lost 12-1 to the Pacers. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Worthington Kilbourne saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karris Stuttard, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Worthington Kilbourne's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Hayes, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Worthington Kilbourne will venture away from home to take on Westerville South at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.89 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hayes, they will head out to face off against West Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
