Soccer Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon lost against Monmouth Academy back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Greyhounds lost 5-1 to the Mustangs.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Monmouth Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lisbon will welcome Oak Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lisbon will be up against Oak Hill's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.2 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Monmouth Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Traip at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
