Baseball Recap: Plainview's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Plainview won against Sylvania last Saturday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Plainview Bears never let the Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Cy Traylor was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Riley Bannister, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Plainview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Plainview and bumps their season record up to 2-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.5 runs. As for Kate Duncan Smith DAR, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
