Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Homewood-Flossmoor). They blew past the Metea Valley Mustangs 50-8 on Friday. The Vikings not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 4, 2024 (when they won 54-6).

The victory made it two in a row for Homewood-Flossmoor and bumps their season record up to 5-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.5 points over those games. As for Metea Valley, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
