South East wins going away against Chavez

Recap: South East Jaguars vs. Chavez Eagles

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the South East Jaguars had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They strolled past Chavez with points to spare, taking the game 23-6. The win made it back-to-back wins for South East.

Leading South East to victory were Edward Rivera and Senen Carson. Rivera rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown, while Carson gained 136 total yards and two touchdowns.

South East's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Chavez, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

South East will face off against George Washington Prep at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. George Washington Prep is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Chavez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
