Quincy Notre Dame's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Pittsfield Saukees. Considering the Raiders have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Quincy Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Pittsfield, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2-1.

Quincy Notre Dame and Pittsfield should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Raiders (ranked 43rd) will meet Quincy (ranked 325th) at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Pittsfield will face off against Brown County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (139 vs. 455).
