Basketball Recap: Reed Point/Rapelje Comes Up Short

Reed Point/Rapelje and Plenty Coups squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Reed Point/Rapelje had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Plenty Coups Warriors 78-36. The Renegades' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it 15 in a row.

Reed Point/Rapelje's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Broyles, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. What's more, Broyles also posted a 57% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Landen Bryant, who posted six points and three steals.

Reed Point/Rapelje's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Plenty Coups, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.
