Fort Sumner/House can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Friday. Everything went their way against the Hagerman Bobcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Fort Sumner/House has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Hagerman, too.

While Fort Sumner/House won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 26-24.

Hagerman's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Martinez, who had 11 kills and one block. Martinez is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ariana Magallanes, who had 12 digs and six kills.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-6. As for Hagerman, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
