Football Recap: Aspen Skiers vs. Basalt Longhorns
While it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, Aspen was not quite Basalt's equal in the second half on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 35-21 to the Basalt Longhorns. Another player making a difference was Karson Schneider, who threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.
Aspen's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4. As for Basalt, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
