Softball Recap: Southern Christian Takes a Loss

Southern Christian lost against Evangel Christian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Southern Christian came up short against Evangel Christian, falling 11-1. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southern Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Journee McKee, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Maggie White was another, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Southern Christian's record is now 1-10. As for Evangel Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Coming up, Southern Christian will venture away from home to square off against Ezekiel Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ezekiel Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Southern Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Evangel Christian, they will take on North River Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Evangel Christian's pitchers better be ready for this one: North River Christian has averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
