Football Recap: Tri County Area Comes Up Short

If Tri County Area was feeling good fresh off their 58-19 takedown of Newaygo last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings lost 58-33 to the Reed City Coyotes on Friday. The Vikings lost against the Coyotes in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 52-6 score last time.

Tri County Area's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Reed City, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tri County Area is set to face off against their familiar foe Chippewa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Reed City will take on rival Newaygo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
