Soccer Recap: Hialeah Gardens Comes Up Short

Hialeah Gardens and Miami squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Hialeah Gardens had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miami Stingarees. The Gladiators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Stingarees earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Hialeah Gardens' defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-3. As for Miami, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Hialeah Gardens does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miami, they will challenge Columbus at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Columbus will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Miami surely won't give up without a fight.
