Basketball Recap: Oley Valley Comes Up Short

Oley Valley suffered their closest loss since February 20, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Saucon Valley Panthers by a score of 52-49. The Lynx just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Saucon Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adam Clark, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most boards Clark has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jack Robertson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Oley Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Saucon Valley, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oley Valley will head out to face off against Schuylkill Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saucon Valley, they will venture away from home to challenge Catasauqua at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
