Softball Recap: Penn Cambria Takes a Loss

Penn Cambria lost against Richland back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Rams by a score of 4-3. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Penn Cambria saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyse Rabatin, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Penn Cambria now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Richland, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Penn Cambria is set to take on their familiar foe Bishop McCort at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Richland will challenge rival Hollidaysburg at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Considering the Rams have lost three straight at home (dating back to last season) and the Golden Tigers three straight on the road, this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
