Volleyball Recap: Shelley Russets vs. Bonneville Bees
Shelley lost against Bonneville back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Shelley Russets fell 3-1 to the Bonneville Bees. The Russets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Bonneville scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 18-25, 25-23.
Even though they lost, Shelley kept the net locked down and finished the game with 13 blocks. That's the most blocks they've posted in their last seven matches.
Shelley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Bonneville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-13.
