Volleyball Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

Northeast lost against Lincoln College Prep back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings came up short against the Blue Tigers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since April 14th.

Among those leading the charge was Ben Golec, who had 23 digs. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games he's played. Jared Suriano also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8-2. As for Lincoln College Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-13-3.

Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln College Prep, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Rockhurst on the 20th.
