Softball Recap: Mount St. Mary Academy Takes a Loss

Mount St. Mary Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 11-2 to the Robinson Senators. The Belles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Senators apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Mount St. Mary Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Robinson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Mount St. Mary Academy will take on Dardanelle at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Robinson, they will challenge Heber Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Senators are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Panthers a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
