Basketball Game Preview: Brentwood War Eagles vs. Trinity Christian Crusaders

Brentwood is 2-8 against Trinity Christian since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Brentwood War Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Trinity Christian Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. Brentwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Trinity Christian likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Brentwood didn't have too much trouble with Pinewood Christian as they won 76-61. Given the War Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Patriots are ranked 486th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brentwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tristan Robinson, who posted 18 points. Robinson's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Khaden Walker, who scored 15 points.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian came up short against Windsor Academy on Tuesday and fell 62-55.

Brentwood's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-20.
