Liberty won against Chaney on Wednesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Leopards never let the Memorial Red Devils get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. For the Leopards, this counts as revenge for the 12-4 win the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Liberty and bumps their season record up to 2-15-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Memorial, they are on a 30-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Looking ahead, Liberty will be playing at home against Wellsville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Memorial, they will square off against East at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. East has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.92 runs per game on average), something Memorial will no doubt try to take advantage of.
