Baseball Game Preview: Norwell Clippers vs. Carver Crusaders

The Norwell Clippers will challenge the Carver Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Norwell sitting on five straight wins and Carver on three.

Norwell's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Plymouth South, sneaking past 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Clippers have posted since June 2, 2025.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carver). They won by a run and slipped past Cohasset 14-13. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The win got Carver back to even at 3-3. As for Norwell, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Norwell got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Carver by a conclusive 14-3 score. Do the Clippers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crusaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
