Lake Zurich came tearing into Thursday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Stevenson Patriots a 3-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-3 on Monday.

Lake Zurich's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-9.
