Basketball Game Preview: Arapahoe Warriors vs. Brady Eagles

The Arapahoe Warriors will challenge the Brady Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Arapahoe has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Brady will arrive with three straight victories.

Arapahoe lost 47-27 to Alma on Tuesday.

Despite their loss, Arapahoe saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Sage Larson, who posted 12 points, was perhaps the best of all. That's the most points Larson has posted since back in December of 2023. Emma Strand was another key player, putting up six points and six boards.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brady). They were the clear victor by a 55-29 margin over Sandhills Valley on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Eagles have posted since December 27, 2024.

Arapahoe's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Brady, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Arapahoe came out on top in a nail-biter against Brady in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, sneaking past 37-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Arapahoe since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
