Softball Recap: Bishop Ludden Takes a Loss

Bishop Ludden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Weedsport Wolverines, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-2 on Sunday.

Bishop Ludden's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Weedsport, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Bishop Ludden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Weedsport, they are taking a road trip to challenge Thousand Islands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Wolverines' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
