Mandeville has gone 9-0-1 against Ponchatoula recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mandeville Skippers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ponchatoula Green Wave at 7:15 p.m. Mandeville will be strutting in after a victory while Ponchatoula will be coming in after a loss.

Mandeville is headed into the matchup having not lost since December 5 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Slidell onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Skippers have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Ponchatoula didn't have quite enough to beat Northshore on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The Green Wave haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Mandeville pushed their record up to 9-2-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five contests. As for Ponchatoula, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1.

Everything went Mandeville's way against Ponchatoula in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Mandeville made off with a 7-0 win. Does Mandeville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ponchatoula turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
