Ben Davis hasn't had much luck against Lawrence North recently, but that could start to change  on Saturday. The Ben Davis Giants will challenge the Lawrence North Wildcats at 7:30  p.m. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
Last Saturday, Ben Davis ended up a good deal behind Pike and lost  64-48.

Ben Davis might have lost, but man,  Shania Curry was a machine:  she  dropped  a double-double on 22  points and 14  boards. Curry has been hot, having also posted two or more  steals the last eight times she's  played.  Aubri Ingram was another key player,  putting up ten points.
 Even though they lost, Ben Davis  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive boards in 14 consecutive  games.
Meanwhile, Lawrence North was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They fell  60-51 to Big Walnut.
 Ben Davis will have to keep a close watch on  Keadriah Butler and  Kya Hurt, a pair of players who had a big impact on Lawrence North's prior game. Butler  went 8 for 15  on her way to 20  points and eight  rebounds, while  Hurt  posted ten points along with six  assists and six  boards. That's the most  points  Butler has posted since back in January of 2024.
 Ben Davis' loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-9. As for Lawrence North, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Ben Davis has been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 29.4  rebounds per game. However, it's not like Lawrence North struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 26.9  boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
 Ben Davis came up short against Lawrence North when the teams last played  back in January of 2024, falling  63-53. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of   Hurt, who  went 7 of 13  en route to 19 points in addition to seven  rebounds and five  steals.
