Softball Recap: Melrose Comes Up Short

Melrose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Triton Regional Vikings.

Melrose's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Triton Regional, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Melrose will square off against Watertown at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Triton Regional, they will take on Manchester Essex at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
