Mid-Penn - Capital recap November 5, 2013

Steelton-Highspire extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Penn - Capital this week by beating Camp Hill, 62-6. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Steelton-Highspire led the league in scoring this week by notching 62 points on the Lions.

Garrett Stuter was a beast in the backfield as East Pennsboro beat Susquenita.

Stuter provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Panthers topped the Blackhawks. Stuter's favorite target this week was Ryan Turpin, who caught 3 passes for 20 yards.

Stuter was the best running back in the league this week. In 20 carries, he ran for 224 yards as East Pennsboro fell to Middletown. Turpin also contributed to the rushing game with 34 yards on the ground.

The Shamrocks' Mike Boguski and Kuntz led Mid-Penn - Capital in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Boguski has thrown for 1,544 yards this season, while Kuntz has 62 catches for 1,148 yards. Todd Stuter's team's Stuter leads the league in rushing yards with 1,289.

Boiling Springs made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,220 from 10,467. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 23-8 victory over the Bubblers last week.
