Soccer Recap: Norfolk Takes a Loss

After flying high against Grand Island on Tuesday, Norfolk came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks on Friday, falling 4-0. Norfolk have struggled against Lincoln Southwest recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Norfolk's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Lincoln Southwest, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Norfolk is set to face off against their familiar foe Papillion-LaVista South at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Lincoln Southwest will square off against rival Lincoln North Star at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
