Baseball Game Preview: Herron Achaeans vs. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans

Herron hasn't had much luck against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Achaeans will take on the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Herron is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 23 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Speedway on Monday. They came up short against the Sparkplugs, falling 17-1.

Herron saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abraham Cherry, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Heritage Christian.

Herron's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 6-4.

Herron suffered a grim 10-2 defeat to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Achaeans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
