After losing to Newark the last time they met, Buckeye Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Barons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Barons as they're now sitting on four straight.

Despite the loss, Newark still got an impressive performance from Reese Riley, who had 17 digs and two aces. Riley is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Buckeye Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Newark, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckeye Valley will welcome Grandview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newark, they will host Groveport-Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
