Basketball Game Preview: Atlee Raiders vs. Armstrong Wildcats

The Atlee Raiders will face off against the Armstrong Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Atlee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matches.

Atlee will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Patrick Henry, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Atlee blew past Patrick Henry, posting a 75-30 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Armstrong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 48-41 to Patrick Henry.

Atlee pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.4 points. As for Armstrong, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Atlee skirted past Armstrong 63-61 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Will Atlee repeat their success, or does Armstrong have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
