Soccer Recap: Albemarle School Comes Up Short

Albemarle School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pungo Christian Academy Raiders. That's two games in a row now that Albemarle School have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Meghan Parker, who's now up to three this season.

Albemarle School's loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Pungo Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Albemarle School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pungo Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech on the 17th.
