Volleyball Recap: Bloom-Carroll Beats Bishop Hartley for Their Third Straight Victory

Bloom-Carroll extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 3-0. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Bishop Hartley Hawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since September 30, 2024.

Sienna Hogue had an outrageously good game as she had 25 digs and two assists. Those 25 digs gave her a new career-high.

Bloom-Carroll was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matches dating back to last season.

As for Bishop Hartley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with Bloom-Carroll: they've now lost four in a row.

Kate Motter and Karah O'Malley certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Motter had 11 digs and three aces, while O'Malley had 12 digs and three aces. O'Malley is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Bloom-Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Circleville on the 28th. As for Bishop Hartley, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Hayes on the 29th.
