Lawrence Academy came tearing into Monday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since September 30, 2024.

Lawrence Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 10-25, 23-25, 25-17, 25-22, 15-9.

Lawrence Academy can attribute much of their success to Maggie Price, who had 12 digs. That's the most digs Price has posted since back in September of 2024.

Lawrence Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
