Casey Midcap Goes Supernova in Wray Win

Casey Midcap's big game helped extend Wray's winning streak to six on Saturday. Burlington had no answer to Midcap as he threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 10-for-10 passing, and also rushed for 39 yards.

Wray's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Midcap and Wray will square off against Limon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Samuel Meisner and Co. Win Sixth in a Row

Wray picked up their sixth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Samuel Meisner. Meisner turned in nothing short of a gem, making ten total tackles (1.5 for loss).

Meisner might have his next game, a home matchup with Limon, circled on his calendar. When Meisner last faced the Badgers back in October of 2023, he made 16 total tackles.

Jayson Lousberg Delivers Electric Effort Vs Yuma

Jayson Lousberg was a major factor in Wiggins's victory over Yuma on Friday. Lousberg was unstoppable, rushing for 139 yards and two touchdowns.

Unfortunately for Yuma, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Lousberg. When Lousberg last faced the Outlaws back in September of 2023, he rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns.

Jorge Mendez put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign : he rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles.

This season, Mendez has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 30.8 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.
