Football Preview: Lewisburg Patriots vs. Itawamba Agricultural Indians        
        
		
             Lewisburg has been away from home for two games now, but  on Thursday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Itawamba Agricultural Indians  at 7:00  p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Lewisburg is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have all season. They took  a  38-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Olive Branch on Friday.
 The losing side was boosted by   Jacob Manns, who threw for 178 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards.  Cael Riden was  Manns' top target, picking up 70 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Meanwhile, Itawamba Agricultural has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 14.75  points allowed per game, but that average took a hit  on Friday. They took a hard  38-21 fall against New Albany. That makes it the first time this season the Indians have let down their home crowd.
 Lewisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Itawamba Agricultural, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
 Everything came up roses for Lewisburg against Itawamba Agricultural in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023, as the  team secured  a  42-14 win. In that  contest, Lewisburg amassed a halftime lead of  28-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Thursday.
