Basketball Recap: Vernon Hills Takes a Loss

Vernon Hills lost against Rolling Meadows back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vernon Hills Cougars took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rolling Meadows Mustangs.

Vernon Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Rolling Meadows, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Vernon Hills has already played their next game (against Maine West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rolling Meadows will square off against Prospect at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prospect is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.9 points per game this season.
