Basketball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Oak Grove Tigers 62-3. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-1.

Joe'Niyah Tillman was Madison's leading scorer, having posted two points.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Oak Grove, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bastrop at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Grove, they will head out to face off against Beekman Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
