Bradley-Bourbonnais and Andrew are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Boilermakers are taking a road trip to challenge the Thunderbolts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bradley-Bourbonnais' defense has only allowed 12.5 points per game this season, so Andrew's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Bradley-Bourbonnais will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Lincoln-Way West, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Boilermakers were the clear victors by a 35-13 margin over the Warriors on Friday. The Boilermakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Andrew strolled past DeKalb with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 47-28. Given the Thunderbolts' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Barbs are ranked 206th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Andrew is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.6 points over those games. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Bradley-Bourbonnais beat Andrew 42-31 in their previous meeting back in September of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Boilermakers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
