Basketball Recap: Dardanelle Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Dardanelle and Shiloh Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Dardanelle had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Shiloh Christian Saints 52-23. The Sand Lizards were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 55 points in the three games prior), but the Saints' defense proved too tough.

Dardanelle's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Shiloh Christian, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-6.

As of now, neither Dardanelle nor Shiloh Christian have any future games scheduled.
