Baseball Recap: Ider Comes Up Short

Ider was the 7-4 winner over Skyline when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings on Thursday.

Ider has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 26-13 record this season. As for Skyline, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Ider wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-3 defeat against Sylvania on the 12th. Skyline has also already played their next matchup (against Huntland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
