Grace Christian faced Proctor in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Lions fell just short of the Phantoms by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Grace Christian couldn't push the score so high this time.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grace Christian fell to 7-1-1. As for Proctor, their record now sits at 8-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Grace Christian will venture away from home to square off against Sharon Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Proctor, they will head out to face off against Bellows Falls at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
