Flag Football Recap: Sacramento Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Sacramento's offense. They took a blow against the Vanden Vikings on Monday, falling 44-0. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

It was another big night for Adayah Holly, who rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also caught one TD for Vanden. Those 157 rushing yards gave Holly a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cadance Holloway, who picked up 75 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Sacramento's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Vanden, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sacramento will face off against rival Rodriguez at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Vanden is set to challenge their familiar foe Wood at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
