Volleyball Game Preview: Andrew Thunderbolts vs. Stagg Chargers

The Andrew Thunderbolts will square off against the Stagg Chargers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Andrew has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Andrew didn't have quite enough to beat Sandburg and fell 2-1. The Thunderbolts have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Andrew started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Stagg can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Shepard.

Stagg never let Shepard on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19.

Stagg's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-11. As for Andrew, their loss dropped their record down to 12-19.
