Softball Recap: St. Albans Red Dragons vs. Capital Cougars
St. Albans won the last time they faced Capital and things went their way on Thursday too. The Red Dragons blew past the Cougars 9-0. The result was nothing new for the Red Dragons, who have now won six matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Ava Bentley made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
