Volleyball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton lost against Lake Cormorant back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Arrows fell just short of Lake Cormorant by a score of 2-1. While the Arrows didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Lake Cormorant 25-20 in the first set.

Clinton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-18, 15-6.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lake Cormorant, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Clinton has already played their next contest (against Gulfport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lake Cormorant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Alcorn Central on the 1st.
