Jonesboro is 10-0 against Gholson since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Jonesboro Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge Gholson. Gholson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Jonesboro, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Jonesboro against Cranfills Gap as the squad secured a 66-29 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Gholson lost 48-24 to Oglesby on Tuesday. Gholson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jonesboro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points per game. As for Gholson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Jonesboro didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Gholson in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 56-52 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jonesboro since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
