Basketball Recap: East Buchanan Comes Up Short

East Buchanan lost against Maquoketa Valley back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The East Buchanan Buccaneers were dealt a 63-33 loss at the hands of the Maquoketa Valley Wildcats. The Buccaneers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

East Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Maquoketa Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

East Buchanan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maquoketa Valley, they will square off against Edgewood-Colesburg on Monday. Edgewood-Colesburg has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight defeats, while Maquoketa Valley will come in with four straight wins.
